Made of 60% water, with passion

I’m 34 years old and above all passionate about nature and sports. I was lucky enough to grow up in the countryside, in the heart of the Caps et Marais d’Opale Natural Park. I spent my childhood outdoors, making things with my hands, gardening with my father, riding bikes with the kids from the village, and fishing in the river just below my house.

This life experience led me to get involved in various environmental associations. I worked for seven years at the NGO Surfrider Foundation Europe as a project manager on a plastic pollution research project.

• Freshwater and sea fishing instructor-guide (BPJEPS Recreational Fishing and UCC Recreational Fishing in Marine Environments)

• Engineering degree specialized in hydrobiology and marine biology

• Coastal lifeguard (BNSSA, SSAL, PSE2)

• Boat licences: coastal, offshore, inland waters

Sports practiced in specific environments, such as packrafting or canoeing, require high-quality supervision by trained and certified professionals. I therefore encourage you to check the validity of the qualifications of the guides or instructors you choose for your activities. The platform recherche-educateur.sports.gouv.fr was created precisely for this purpose. 

My experiences have led me to the conviction that the best way to raise awareness about environmental protection is to place people back into nature. We need to recreate this connection that is gradually disappearing from our lifestyles centered around large urban areas.

It is this idea that led me to become a canoe-kayak instructor and to create 2B Aventure. 

• Surf Life Saving, which I practice in competition with Biarritz Sauvetage Côtier

• Ski touring, independently or with the French Alpine Club of Bayonne

• Sailing on my little 1982 Jeanneau Fantasia sailboat

• Car mechanics, mostly when my loyal 2002 Citroën Berlingo refuses to start!
